This fabulous sign would have once formed part of a permanent window display for a shop retailing radios in the early 1930s.
 
Each three-dimensional letter has been made from laminated wood, fret-worked into shape and painted. It is remarkable that all the letters have remained perfectly intact after all these years.
 
An evocative piece, and a rare survivor from the 'Jazz Age'.
