An extremely well carved oak panel of a cat and dogs, with a human hand above them. Possibly originally made as a veterinary physician's sign. The animals in this piece are beautifully stylised, set within a strong composition. The panel has obviously been mounted in an outdoor location, so that the wood has now acquired a lovely weathered patina.
