An original 17th century mezzotint of the Honourable John Hervey Esq (1616–1679), published by Richard Tompson, c. 1678. After an oil portrait painting by Sir Peter Lely. There are a few creases to the print, but these could be removed when professionally mounted on board. Later Victorian gesso and pine frame.
 
John Hervey was treasurer to Catherine of Braganza, Queen Consort of Charles II.
