A pair of large plaster corbels from a country house interior, in the neo-classical style. Vitruvian scrolls capped with stylised acanthus leaves, and egg-and-dart borders. This is a particularly nice pair, both for their proportions and their natural 'aged' patina. Layers of old flaking paint chips and worn edges - all add to the sculptural qualities of these elegant pieces of architectural salvage.
