An original early 19th century theatrical tinsel print - 'Mr Bland as the Ocean King'. Hand-tinted engraving, embellished with stamped coloured foils. It features an image of 'Neptune' in his shell throne, flanked on either side by a sea dragon, and a whale/dolphin. A rare example, presented in its original period papier maché frame of moulded branches and ivy leaves.
