SOLD
A rare opportunity to purchase a small collection of Victorian and Edwardian dog collars (4 in total). Most of them have been sourced in the West Country, and range in size from 8cm diameter for the smallest, to 13cm in diameter for the largest. Two are solid brass, one is leather with brass detailing, and one is nickel-plated brass. All have dents and are mis-shapen, but all are highly collectable and sought after.
The small brass collar is inscribed with the owner's and dog's names - 'James Bray - Vic'.
The leather collar has the owner's name and location - 'J. M. Nicholls - St Ives'.
The larger brass collar is blank.
The largest, plated collar has the owner's name and dog's name - 'A. Richards - Kea'. It also has an applied brass dog licence tag, dated '1907'.
Price quoted is for the collection of four.
