A fine example of Victorian mochaware pottery. This quart tankard, or ale mug, has strong blue and sage-green glazes. Of cylindrical form with strap handle. The applied excise mark is stamped 'Quart'. In excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Minor glaze crazing to base.
