An unusual provincial oak bookcase. A unique piece of furniture having been lovingly made by a country carpenter using a combination of different woods, possibly to showcase his decorative workmanship. The different woods used in this case include oak, mahogany, elm, satin, and box.

It consists of two sections the shelf unit, and the two drawer cupboard base. Some chips to the cornice corners, but overall in good condition considering its age.
