An early 20th century glazed pottery mug for serving beer. This particular one is branded with the name 'Henekeys Ltd'. The mug is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks.
 
Henekeys was a well-known London wine and spirit merchant and pub operator with its history dating back to the 18th century. It ceased operating after its acquisition in 1982 by the Samuel Smith brewery.
