A fabulous 19th century pine trunk with great layers of crusty old paint. The owner's name, 'J. F. Woodeson', has been artistically signwritten within a diamond shaped moulding. An earlier version of the same name in capital letteres has been overpainted at a later date by another version in lower case typography.
 
Condition of the trunk is good. Very sturdy, so ideal for use as a coffee table. Camphor wood base.
