A genuine 19th century sailor's woolwork or 'woolie', featuring a naval warship moored off land. This example is quite unusual as its creator has incorporated the image of a sailor standing on the shoreline, next to an anchored rowing boat and two barrels, adding even more character to this folk art picture. In good condition with bright colours and tight wools. Mounted in a walnut frame.
