An Edwardian wasp-waisted dressmakers or shop mannequin, with original wirework skirt cage. The papier-mache body form is mounted on an ebonised turned pedestal and can be adjusted in height via a lockable internal steel rod. This item had resided in the studio of an East London sculptor for a number of years, where it was fondly referred to as 'Cassandra'. Height given is for the lowest height - maximum height is 178cm.
