Some examples from a large collection of 'Shown to the Children' illustrated factual books, now being sold individually. The topics for this series of books, produced in the early 20th century, covered all aspects of the natural world, as well as more diverse subjects such as architecture and farm life. All in fairly good condition, with the usual light browning to pages, and fading to spines.
