A travelling pine egg box with original pressed brass manufacturer's label 'THE PROTECTOR', featuring a likeness of Oliver Cromwell. The box has 'EGGS' stencilled on 5 sides, and the lid has the supplier's initials stamped into it. Some staining to interior, but otherwise very clean and no woodworm.
