An oversize model of a fountain pen made as an advertisement for a stationer's shop window. Carved beech, with remnants of original paint. some old repairs to where the wood has had a shrinkage split. Also old repair to pen nib area. A beautiful example of a traditional trade sign, now considered an item of popular folk art.
