A huge banded Ironstone pottery dairy jug, made to hold up to twenty pints, or two and a half gallons. The scalloped 'lift' handle at the front has been broken at some point in its life and glued back, but otherwise the jug is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Minor crazing to glaze.
