An oil painting of a V-class destroyer of the British Royal Navy, possibly HMS Vectis. This painting has been painted on sailing canvas stretched over plywood. The painting is in overall good condition, but with some surface dirt.
 
HMS Vectis was launched in 1917. After nearly 30 years service, she was scrapped in 1936.
