An original Staffordshire pottery 'flatback' spill vase, modelled as a dairy cow and its calf, with a seated milkmaid. Beautiful strong and bright colourwork, on a charming farmyard scene. There are a couple of very small chips to the cow's horns, but otherwise in very good condition.
