A naively carved wooden decoy of a pigeon, possibly made by a hunter for his own rig, rather than commercially produced. Despite this, it has a lot of charm, with obvious thought and time put into creating it. Details such as the inset glass eyes, the geometric-style incised area where the wing tips meet the tail feathers, and the stylised yet functional paintwork, all make this piece of folk art quite unique.
