An original hand painted wooden sign for a West Country boarding house. Dating from the 1930s with great period typography. Painted on sheet board with timber frame. In good original condition. Crease across lower section.  Signed in lower right corner, ‘ CECIL F. PAYNE - BUILDER - BLAGDON’ (Blagdon is near Bristol).
