An stylised carved wood pigeon decoy which, based on the paint colours and decoration, would suggest it was originally retailed through the George G. Bussey Conpany of London. The Bussey Company was a sporting goods dealer, founded around 1860, and existed until the late 1940s. This example most likely dates to the early 1900s , c.1910-1920.
